Fees and Policies
Fees:
Private therapy session are 50 minutes long.
£60 per session, face to face or online.
I offer a limited number of discounted sessions for those in financial hardship, for those who are serving/served in the armed forces and police officers
Counselling sessions will be open-ended and not restricted to a set number of sessions per client. Times and days of counselling sessions will be agreed ahead of time, and dates of planned holidays or breaks will also be arranged ahead of time.
Group therapy sessions are 60 minutes long
Prices will vary depending on venue and size of group, but aim to be affordable and accessible for all who may benefit from attending. Details are published via the group therapy icon.
Policies
Cancellation Policy
Any private or group counselling sessions missed by the client without prior notice will be charged at the full rate.
Any private or group counselling sessions that are cancelled with less than 48 hours notice will be charged at a reduced rate of 50%
Any session cancelled by the counsellor will not be charged.
Confidentiality and Consent
Confidentiality and consent will be fully explained (at an age appropriate level) during our first session, with consent forms being completed.
Emergency contact details of next of kin/parent/carers will be asked for, along with GP details.
All counselling sessions remain confidential, however if the counsellor becomes concerned about the safety of the client, someone else, or illegal activity through information shared and disclosed within a session this information may be shared with parents/carers, GP, or local authorities where appropriate.
Online therapy
For some people accessing counselling online can feel like a more accessible option for them.
It is important that online counselling sessions are done in an appropriate environment where you feel safe, secure and is confidential.
This will be discussed further during an initial appointment.
Group therapy
All members of group therapy sessions, regardless of age or reason for attending, must adhere to the group rules and agreements laid out by the group.
Anyone who behaves in a threatening or offensive manner will be asked to leave - without refund of fees already paid.
